The well-known rakomelo, an ideal treat for a group of friends or as an accompaniment to nuts in lonely hours, but with our own recipe. The favourite gift of the younger generation for their friends who have not (yet) come to Naxos for holiday.
We make it with raki and honey from Naxos, cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg.
It is consumed hot in winter and cold in summer.
Bonus tip: Serve with an orange peel and pair it with nuts.
It pairs perfectly with Arseniko Naxou cheese.
