The family business PROMPONA is a dynamic company founded in the distant year 1995 with the main object the production and bottling of the local spirit “KITRO OF NAXOS”. Over the years, in 1978, it founded the WINERY and the production of local spoon sweets, making the unique Naxos crispy cherry, and it also started the production of other traditional local products. With the same philosophy and respect for the authentic recipes, the handicraft business began to produce rakomelo (honey raki), mastic and limoncello liqueur, enriching its product range with spirits that highlight the special aromas and flavours of Naxos. They also created raki with citron aroma, which combines the tradition of raki with the unique freshness of local citron, offering a new and unique product to the market.
